Beth McDonnell

Beth McDonnell is the founder and CEO of The Company. She is also the Director of Sales and Marketing at Steel River Playhouse. She has been heading up marketing, and business development, while serving as an acting coach and director in PA theaters for the past three years. She thrives on growing the awareness of quality art venues in the local area, while expanding and strengthening the reach of the arts within the community. The Company Theatre recently launched their debut show “5,6,7,8.. A Cabaret of Music and Dance!” which was a sold out hit. While in NYC, Beth was a professional actress and also directed a number of productions of which her favorites include “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf”, “Angels in America”, “Grease”, and “La Cage aux Folles.” She attended the prestigious Conservatory at the Chautauqua Theater Company in NY, and is a graduate of the distinguished American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA), after which she spent a decade performing professionally in NYC. Beth re-entered the world of theatre three years ago, after taking a break to have a family. Since, in addition to The Company’s inaugural show, she has concentrated on directing/producing theatre aimed at all ages, including the local sold out hit, “Seussical the Musical.” Beth’s unique talent of guardianship of the creative process, overseeing the notable artistic team members of The Company, is what makes her successful solely producing, as well as working in tandem with local art organizations. Beth’s mission is to provide the platform which allows everyone to bring their talents to fruition.

Erin Dixon

COO - Lighting Designer, Set Designer, Scenic Artist, Stage Management, Graphic Artist, Videographer, Teacher


Erin Dixon serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for The Company. Graduating summa cum laude as a dual major from Kutztown University, she is an actor by trade. She has acquired Bachelor’s degrees in Communications, Theatre – Acting & Directing, and holds the Level One Certification in Alba Emoting. Erin is a proud fourth generation Stanislavsky student, trained by the apprentice of Sonia Moore. During her time at Kutztown University, Erin performed in numerous Main Stage productions while holding the position of Vice President within Spotlight Players, a theatrical group on campus. Alongside her work within Spotlight Players, Erin assisted long-time friend, Drew Boardman, on projects within two additional Kutztown theatre groups, ACT, a theatrical group for non-majors, and Sunshine Players, a touring children’s production team, bringing the art of performance to local elementary and middle schools. She adores theatre in all aspects and thrives on the experience of teaching young, up and coming actors, stage management, along with lighting and set design. For Erin, working within The Company is a dream come true. Collaborating on projects with others and sharing common goals is one thing, but creating art with truly talented, remarkable friends – it takes the cake every time.

Drew Boardman

Artistic Director


Drew Boardman is thrilled to be the Artistic Director here at The Company! For the last 15 years Drew has been performing with different theatre companies throughout Pennsylvania and Upstate New York. He studied Professional Writing at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, and is currently continuing his degree in Creative Writing for Entertainment through Full Sail University. While at Kutztown, Drew was heavily involved with the Sunshine Players, a children’s theatre organization that brought theatre to elementary aged students in the Lehigh and Berks Counties. He eventually began writing and directing plays for Perforum, the spoken-word and communications club on campus. His final year at Kutztown, Drew founded ACT (Actors Creating Theatre), the resident theatre club at Kutztown. In ACT, Drew served as President, as well as directing and producing their inaugural show, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. Since leaving Kutztown, Drew has been acting and directing at many local community theatres, including Ephrata Performing Arts Center, Genesius Theatre, Steel River Playhouse and 1st Street Players. On the side, Drew has begun writing and creating his own content for the internet with a few talented collaborators. He is very excited for all of the upcoming projects and future plans The Company has, and to continue to bring theatre to the surrounding area.

Jaclyn Kossor

Resident Hair and Makeup Artist


Jaclyn Kossor is the Resident Hair and Makeup Artist of The Company. Jackie has had the honor of helping clients shape the way they feel about themselves. In the case of theatre, Jackie helps them to immerse themselves into the part they are playing. She started her career in Los Angeles, California where she was trained in makeup for TV, Film, Theatre, and Special FX at Studio Makeup Academy. During her time in LA, Jackie worked on numerous Indie Films, commercials, and fashion photo shoots. After six years, she moved to New York City where she had the pleasure of working with many talented artists in Off-Broadway Productions and theatre festivals. Jackie returned to Pennsylvania to complete her training as a licensed cosmetologist, all while working with community theater companies, salons and bridal businesses. Jackie is very excited to be working with The Company on this new adventure!

Caleb Duffy

Choreographer


Caleb Duffy is the Resident Choreographer for the Company. Caleb works full time in Catering in West Chester, PA and part time for Under the Sun Productions, Inc. as an area manager and chief prop coordinator. He is very dedicated to the arts in all forms and believes that community involvement is the best way to keep the industry booming. Caleb has been a performer since childhood, from choir and dance, to Colorguard and theatre. He has worked most extensively in Montgomery and Chester counties, but has performed in venues in more than half of the United States, as well as in Poland and England. Caleb studied dance at West Chester University and was a member of the WCU Marching Band Colorguard and University Dance Company, which broadened his understanding of movement. He has choreographed multiple successful adult productions and taught dance to children in summer theatre camps. He loves to help people of all ages grow as performers and gain the confidence necessary to get on stage. Although Caleb took a 5 year break from theatre in college, he came back strong by performing in 14 shows in 3 years. This was made possible by the people that he has met throughout those years. He believes that theatre friendships are a special kind of bond that you can’t find anywhere else. Each person you get to perform with pushes you to your potential and creates a positive atmosphere unlike any other.

Mandy Milne

Musical Director


Mandy Milne is a classically trained pianist, conductor, arranger and vocal coach. Mandy was drawn to musical theatre at a young age, both as an actor and instrumentalist. Since then, she has played piano for and music directed countless shows from North Carolina to North Jersey over the past 30+ years. She is a proud alumna of the Tanglewood Institute, Peabody Preparatory of Johns Hopkins University and East Carolina University where she received two Bachelor’s degrees and her Master’s Degree in Music. She has been active as a church musician since she was 12 years old and has taught in public and private schools as well as at the university level. Mandy’s superpower was being the homeschool mom of her three awesome kids and the wife of her very hardworking husband, Nick. Thank you Beth for bringing me onboard to work with the The Company Theatre. You are a FORCE and I have loved working with you!!

Tanina Urbanski

Choreographer


Tanina Urbanski is a dancer and choreographer whose work has received awards at dance competitions and at the international dance festival, Dance Excellence, in Los Angeles, California. Trained in all genres of dance, she is currently a faculty member at Chester Valley Dance Academy, The Agnes Irwin School, and Villa Maria Academy High School. She is a graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges (HWS). During her time at HWS, she was a Janet Seeley Arts Scholar and a recipient of the Jean W. Reeves Arts Scholarship and performed at the American College Dance Festival. She was a member of the Koshare Dance Collective, performing, choreographing, and producing the annual concert each year. Through Koshare, she pioneered the Day of Dance Workshop for high school and middle school students in the Geneva, NY area to come to campus and take a day of dance classes taught by HWS Dance students. Additionally, she choreographed the Geneva High School Musical, West Side Story (2016) returned to choreograph Into the Woods (2017).

Dylan Rush

Lead Graphic Artist


Dylan Rush graduated from Kutztown University in 2014 with a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration. He currently works at Jostens Yearbook Company while doing additional graphic freelance work on the side. Dylan has recently enrolled at Kutztown University again for his second go-around in pursuit of his Master’s degree and hopes to one day become a professor. Thanks to the friends Dylan has made in college, he developed a love for the theatre but was never brave enough to step on stage himself. Instead, he found his way into the scene by using his graphic design skills and is excited for the future of The Company. Rhea Roat

Costume Designer


Rhea Roat has been in the Chester Springs area for over 20 years and has run her own in-home business in custom clothing design, alterations and costuming. She has worked with various theaters such as Tri-Pac, Steel River, Barley Sheaf Players and more. Some of her more recent work includes Shrek, Spring Awakening; It’s A Wonderful Life; Narnia: Lion, Witch and Wardrobe, Noises Off, and Wizard of Oz. She most recently completed costuming for Beauty and the Beast which included many of her own original creations. She currently works with Ursinus College on their Fall Dance Concerts. She also teaches sewing classes ranging from basic to advanced levels as well as tailoring and fine finishing techniques for both youth and adults. Rhea has a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and has taken classes at Moore College School of Design.

Christopher Dissin

Sound Technician and Engineer


Chris first discovered his love for recording and mixing circa 2004. Since then, he has devoted himself to learning the tricks of the trade and to earn his place among the ranks of great producers and engineers. He employs a “client first” attitude, leaving pride at the door and putting the people in front of the microphone before himself. This approach has earned the respect of his clients, be it in the studio or on stage, and he’s intent on continuing this trend far into the future. Chris is easy to work with, and takes his job very seriously and personally, always doing what’s needed to ensure his clients are comfortable, happy, and that the finished product is sure to blow minds.

Josh Brynes

Crew Manager


Josh is new to the world of theatre and is enjoying the wonderful friendships he has developed, as well as expanding upon and fully realizing his vast skill set. Scenic construction and properties design is the execution of both creativity, as well as skills in construction, completing both small pieces and large scale installations. As crew manager he is able to map out the quickest and most efficient way to allow the production to run smoothly as well as promptly strike, which is important as we share venues with collaborators. He is looking forward to assisting in many ways as The Company Theatre continues to grow.

Diane Auman

Staff Photographer


Diane Auman is a Chester Springs based Photographer specializing in both outdoor, scenic locations and her own professional indoor studio based shoots. She has spent the past 10 years perfecting the art of photography and re-touching to ensure every client looks their best. Headshots for performers, as well as business professionals aids her clients to be noticed and remembered. She is a perfectionist who will make sure the desired look is achieved and the photograph is one to keep for a lifetime.
