This is Broadway at its best and “5,6,7,8… A Cabaret of Music and Dance” has now been formatted for this intimate and personal production with exactly what you want for an evening of first-rate entertainment: the best of 100 years of Broadway with theatre professionals ready to blow you away.
KC Fredericks, NYC based Professional Broadway Actor and Choreographer, alongside Director/Producer Beth McDonnell and the rest of The Co. Theatre Production Team, has designed a show perfect for all ages, all at a discounted ticket price to showcase The Company Theatre to everyone in our community. Each number will entertain you as if it was plucked from the NYC stage, taking you to that pivotal moment in the original hit show. This one-of-a-kind cabaret with ovation worthy vocals features songs that graced the most illustrious stages, celebrating 100 years of Broadway!

Nickerson-Rossi Dance (NRD) is opening their doors to The Conservatory, where this production will take place showcasing The Company Theatre, Pennsylvania’s Premier Production Team. NRD is a bi-coastal contemporary professional dance company with Downingtown based contemporary/modern dance school. The Company Theatre solely produces, as well as partners with local arts organizations, collaborating on a variety of artistic ventures with the goal of developing the best of entertainment and educational outreach for the Chester County and surrounding area.

KC Fredericks is the Guest Broadway Choreographer for “5,6,7,8… A Cabaret of Music and Dance.” As both a Professional Broadway Performer and Choreographer based in NYC, KC has developed an illustrious career and he is happy to lend his talents to Choreographing some of the large crowd pleasing hits, working with The Company Theatre Pros in this exciting and stunning Cabaret. A California native, KC has worked in the commercial and theatrical industries of San Francisco, Los Angeles, New England, New York City, and regionally across the country. He was a founding member of RhetOracle Dance Company of Long Beach, CA and has danced for Odyssey Dance Theatre of Salt Lake City as well as a guest artist for Nickerson-Rossi Dance. KC has toured with the North American Tour of Cats, internationally as Chistery in Wicked, nationally as Flounder in The Little Mermaid, and was recently seen in the pre-Broadway production of Tuck Everlasting. TV/Film: Disney’s High School Musical 3: Senior Year, The American Mall,Live From Lincoln Center; Music videos: Danny Blu, Chrissi Poland. Commercial/print: Smash, Ford, MAC Cosmetics, Nokia. KC currently resides with his husband in the NYC region, where he continues to pursue life on the stage and screen.
Beth McDonnell is the founder and CEO of The Company. She is currently, and has been a Business Development and Marketing / Sales Director within PA theaters for 3 years, as well as a Main Stage Director and Acting Teacher. She thrives on growing the awareness of quality art venues in the local area, while expanding and strengthening the reach of the arts within the community. Beth is also a consultant of professional theatre, music and dance, collaborating throughout the area within a variety of venues. Beth Directed and Produced a number of local productions, recently including this year’s sold out hit, “Seussical the Musical.” She attended the prestigious Conservatory at the Chautauqua Theater Company in NY, and is a graduate of the distinguished American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA), after which she spent a decade performing professionally, both On and Off Broadway in NYC. Beth’s unique talent of guardianship of the creative process, overseeing the notable artistic team members of The Company, is what makes her successful both solely producing, as well as working in tandem with local art organizations. Beth’s mission is to provide the platform which allows everyone to bring their talents to fruition. Beth and her team produce high quality art and entertainment to uplift the local community at large.
Erin Dixon serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for The Company. Graduating summa cum laude as a dual major from Kutztown University, she is an actor by trade. She has acquired Bachelor’s degrees in Communications, Theatre – Acting & Directing, and holds the Level One Certification in Alba Emoting. Erin is a proud fourth generation Stanislavsky student, trained by the apprentice of Sonia Moore. During her time at Kutztown University, Erin performed in numerous Main Stage productions while holding the position of Vice President within Spotlight Players, a theatrical group on campus. Alongside her work within Spotlight Players, Erin assisted long-time friend, Drew Boardman, on projects within two additional Kutztown theatre groups, ACT, a theatrical group for non-majors, and Sunshine Players, a touring children’s production team, bringing the art of performance to local elementary and middle schools. She adores theatre in all aspects and thrives on the experience of teaching young, up and coming actors, stage management, along with lighting and set design. For Erin, working within The Company is a dream come true. Collaborating on projects with others and sharing common goals is one thing, but creating art with truly talented, remarkable friends – it takes the cake every time.
Drew Boardman is thrilled to be the Artistic Director here at The Company! For the last 15 years Drew has been performing with different theatre companies throughout Pennsylvania and Upstate New York. He studied Professional Writing at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, and is currently continuing his degree in Creative Writing for Entertainment through Full Sail University. While at Kutztown, Drew was heavily involved with the Sunshine Players, a children’s theatre organization that brought theatre to elementary aged students in the Lehigh and Berks Counties. He eventually began writing and directing plays for Perforum, the spoken-word and communications club on campus. His final year at Kutztown, Drew founded ACT (Actors Creating Theatre), the resident theatre club at Kutztown. In ACT, Drew served as President, as well as directing and producing their inaugural show, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. Since leaving Kutztown, Drew has been acting and directing at many local community theatres, including Ephrata Performing Arts Center, Genesius Theatre, Steel River Playhouse and 1st Street Players. On the side, Drew has begun writing and creating his own content for the internet with a few talented collaborators. He is very excited for all of the upcoming projects and future plans The Company has, and to continue to bring theatre to the surrounding area.
Mandy Milne is a classically trained pianist, conductor, arranger and vocal coach. Mandy was drawn to musical theatre at a young age, both as an actor and instrumentalist. Since then, she has played piano for and music directed countless shows from North Carolina to North Jersey over the past 30+ years. She is a proud alumna of the Tanglewood Institute, Peabody Preparatory of Johns Hopkins University and East Carolina University where she received two Bachelor’s degrees and her Master’s Degree in Music. She has been active as a church musician since she was 12 years old and has taught in public and private schools as well as at the university level. Mandy’s superpower was being the homeschool mom of her three awesome kids and the wife of her very hardworking husband, Nick. Thank you Beth for bringing me onboard for this exciting project. You are a FORCE and I have loved working with you!!
Michael Roman is thrilled to be a part of The Company’s kick off performance in showcasing these fantastic Broadway hits! Michael has Choreographed a number of shows including Legally Blonde and was the Dance Captain and Assistant Choreographer for HAIR. Some of Michael’s past performing credits include HAIR (Hud), and Heathers The Musical (JD) at Ephrata Performing Arts Center, Sister Act The Musical (TJ) at Fulton Opera House, as well as playing Donkey in Shrek The Musical at Steel River Playhouse, Ephrata Performing Arts Center, and the Fulton Opera House, as well as Angel in RENT at Genesius Theatre and Reading Civic. During the day, Michael is a hairstylist at United Artists Salon & Spa in West Reading. Michael attended Academy Musical and Dramatic Academy College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts in NYC. He majored in both Dance and Musical Theatre. He is so excited to both creatively be a part of showcasing these performers amazing talent, as well as perform aside them. He cannot wait get on stage alongside some of his favorite people, and willkommens you to the Cabaret!
Shannon Cooper received her Bachelor of Science Degree at West Chester University in Finance and a minor in Dance Education/Choreography. She began her early dance training at the age of five in the Lancaster County area where she grew up. There she studied Jazz, Ballet, Tap, and Lyrical dance at Carol’s Academy of Dance and with Chet Zercher at Dancer’s Workshop. She has also studied dance at Broadway Dance Center in New York, Koresh Dance Center in Philadelphia and has attended dance conventions and studied from numerous internationally recognized teachers such as Frank Hatchett, Jermaine Brown, Brian Friedman, Joe Tremaine, Mia Michaels and Wade Robson. Shannon performed in West Chester University’s Contemporary Dance Company both as a student and an alumni, the WCU Dance Team, and WCU’s Dance Production Workshop where she served as both President and a choreographer. She has also performed with Opus 1 Contemporary Dance Company based out of the Philadelphia area. Shannon is also a member of the female hip hop company, Flomotion. She has been teaching dance since she was fourteen in Chester County, Delaware County and Lancaster County. Shannon and her husband reside in Valley Township with their son and two daughters.
